Good copy with an excellent impression of this work on architecture richly illustrated by engraved plates and illustrations.

Folio (386 x 240mm). Half-title, title printed in red and black with woodcut vignette, engraved headpieces and initials. The copy contains numerous illustrations and the collation does not correspond to the one in SBN, but it corrisponds to the online digital copy of the BiASA of Rome: gathering A in 3 sheets instead of 4, but complete and with correct pagination, large double page plate on p.95 which connects to N1, 23 engraved plates of which 3 double page, numerous engraved full-page illustrations in text (some light spotting and browning in text). Contemporary speckled calf, gilt spine and red edges (some restorations to spine-ends and corners); preserved in a modern decorated paper case.
