Schang Hutter: sculptor. Born on 11.8.1934 in Solothurn. 1950-54 teaching in the family stonemasonry business in Solothurn; in parallel, a visit to the art school of Berne, in the case of Gottfried Keller and Eugen Jordi. 1954-1961 studied at the Academy of fine Könste monks with Josef Henselmann. Since 1956 friendship with the writer Peter Bichsel. 1961 Röckkehr to Solothurn, from 1962 to 1981 Atelier in the monastery Church of St. Joseph. 1975 award of the Florence Biennale. From 1982 to 1985, lives and Hutter in Hamburg works, from 1985 to 1987 stay in Berlin, Studio in Berlin until 1991. 1988-89 guest Professor at the Akademie der bildenden Könste monks.
