Gefaltetes Doppelblatt (kleine Fehlstellen), zweiseitig mit Tinte eigenhändig beschriftet, anhaftendes rotes Wachssiegel. Charles Sanson (II.) schreibt einem Monsieur Le Couturier in Paris, nachdem er vergeblich versucht hatte, ihn persönlich zu sprechen, und bittet ihn, ihm eine dringend benötigte "ordonnance" zu schicken. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Maße 20 x 16 cm.
Der Stammvater der Henkersfamilie Sanson, ein Soldat in der königlichen Armee Frankreichs namens Charles Sanson (1658 - 1695) aus Abbeville, wurde 1688 zum Scharfrichter von Paris ernannt. Nach seinem Tod im Jahr 1695 wurde das blutige Amt seinem Sohn (1681 - 1726) übertragen, der ebenfalls Charles hieß. Aus dieser Familie stammt der Henker von König Ludwig XVI.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
