A shashka M 1881/1909 for officers of the
Russian dragoons, with appliquéd Order of St. Anna, awarded for bravery
The clean, lightly sharpened blade with a broad fuller and etched floral decoration, bearing the Russian coat of arms on the obverse and the cipher of Tsar Alexander II on the reverse. The manufacturer "Carl Eickhorn Solingen" on the ricasso, which is stamped "Eisenhauer" on the back. Chiselled brass hilt with a black grip, probably ebony. A Cyrillic inscription (tr.) "For Valour" engraved on both sides of the quillons, a miniature of the Order of St. Anna appliquéd on the pommel. The unusual version with a rubberised wooden scabbard, the stamp of the rubber manufacturer in the upper section. Brass scabbard mounts, the top mount engraved with the bearer's initials "SI". Complete with the original sword knot with the St. Anna band of watered, ribbed silk. Length 92.7 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
