Schaukasten mit Puppenpaar in schwäbischer Tracht, um 1830/40
Puppen mit farbig gefassten Holzköpfen mit Echthaar, auf handgenähten Lederbälgern. Jeweils in fein gefertigter schwäbischer Tracht. Der Mann mit Pelzmütze und silberner Uhrenkette, die Frau mit Haube und langer silberner Erbskette. In originalem, auf drei Seiten verglastem Schaukasten aus schwarz gefasstem Holz. Größe der Puppen je ca. 47 cm, Maße des Kastens 62 x 52 x 23 cm.
Wohl ehemals Zunftzeichen der Schneider in ihrer Zunftstube oder Schaufensterdekoration eines lokalen Schneiders.

Provenienz: Ehemals Bestand des städtischen Museums in Ulm, in den 80er Jahren durch Tausch erworben.

A showcase with a pair of dolls in Swabian costume, circa 1830
Dolls with wooden heads painted in colour and with genuine hair, on hand-sewn leather bodies. Each wearing a finely crafted Swabian costume. The man with fur cap and silver watch chain, the woman with bonnet and long silver belcher chain. In the original showcase of
wood painted in black with three glazed sides. Dimensions of dolls approx. 47 cm each, dimensions of case 62 x 52 x 23 cm.
Presumably the former guild symbol for tailors in their guild room or displayed in the shop window of a local tailor.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
