Buchenholz, massiv gebogen, Geflecht. 108,5x80x120cm. Schlagzahlen.
Bei diesem Schaukelfauteuil handelt es sich um ein sehr seltenes Möbel. Wie bei der
frühesten Ausführung des von den Gebrüdern Thonet hergestellten Modells Nr. 1, enden die
Armlehnen noch auf den vorderen Kufen in einem "Schniekel". Ab dem Anfang der 1870er Jahre
wurden sie dann lediglich auf die Kufen aufgelegt. Einige Details lassen es als sicher
erscheinen, dass dieses Modell nicht von Thonet, sondern mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit von
der Firma J. & J. Kohn hergestellt wurde, einem der größten Konkurrenten der Gebrüder
Thonet. J. & J. Kohn produzierte Bugholzmöbel ab 1868 und fertigte anfangs überwiegend die
gleichen Modelle wie Thonet, darunter auch diesen Schaukelfauteuil Nr. 1

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
