Goldgelbe Fahnenseide mit vierseitigem goldenen Fransenbehang, ober- und unterseitig eingezogener Metallstange sowie rot-gold-roten Quasten. Vorderseitig das farbig gestickte spanische Wappen, rückseitig ein diagonales hellblaues Kreuz mit goldener Devisenstickerei "Todo Por la patria” (= Alles für das Vaterland), darunter die goldene Sonne, mittig das aufgelegte Legionschiffre "LC" und in den Ecken alternierend Hakenkreuze oder Eiserne Kreuze. Deutliche Alters- bzw. Abnutzungsspuren.
Zeitgenössische Fotos ähnlicher Fahnen zeigen das Hakenkreuz rechts unten mit abweichender Ausrichtung. Nach Einliefererangaben erbeutet von einem Mitglied der 16th Constabulary Squadron, die von 1945 bis 1950 in Berlin stationiert war. Größe ca. 38 x 32 cm.

A Legion Condor Schellenbaum Flag
Yellow silk body mounted on upper and lower metal staff with tassels (half red and half yellow). Obverse with the Spanish coat of arms. Reverse with light blue cross spread diagonally over yellow field, gold wire embroidered on blue cross "Todo Por la patria" (All for the Fatherland). Between each arm of the cross a silver ray with the embroidered abbreviation "L.C." (Legion Condor) in the middle. Chain-stitched swastikas and Maltese crosses in alternating corners on the reverse. Body of banner exhibits deterioration to silk. Minor differences found between this example and period photos to include lower right corner swastika being reversed. Consignor reports the flag was taken by a member of the 16th Constabulary squadron stationed in Berlin from 1945 - 1950. Dimensions ca. 38 x 32 cm.

Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
