A FINE BAROQUE IVORY, TORTOISE SHELL AND BRASS MOUNTED CRUCIFIX - Flemish, 18th century - Body of Christ of carved ivory, worked in full round, finely worked loincloth, face and hair area. Base and crossbeam made of wood, partially veneered, ebonized and with tortoise shell and bone overlay. Cross beams with partly later brass and metal mounts. Restorations, minor losses, damages due to age. With Certificate for commercial activities with ivory objects No. DE-K-220811-183 from August 11, 2022. - Private Collection, Cologne, assembled since the 1920ies.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
