Stahlkalotte von ca. 7 mm Materialstärke mit kurzem Nasal und ausgeformten Augenbrauenausschnitten, grüne Lackierung (berieben, Rostspuren). Darin die durch vier Schrauben an grauen Filzpolstern befestigte Haube aus Stoff und Leder mit Laschenfutter (die linken beiden Schrauben von der Haube abgerissen), Kopfweite durch Schnallriemen veränderbar. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge ca. 26 cm, Breite ca. 22 cm. Sehr selten. Helme dieser Art wurden in kleiner Stückzahl in den Artilleriewerkstätten gefertigt und stellten gleichsam die Vorläufer der Stahlhelme des Ersten Weltkrieges dar.

The steel shell approx. 7 mm thick, with a short nasal and moulded eyebrow cutouts, green paint finish (abraded, traces of rust). The textile and leather hood and the lining with flaps attached to grey felt padding by means of four screws (the left two screws torn off the hood), the size can be adjusted using a buckle strap. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length approx. 26 cm, width circa 22 cm. Extremely rare find. Helmets of this type were manufactured in small numbers in artillery workshops and were, so to speak, the precursors of the steel helmets of World War I.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
