SCHWARZBURGER WERKSTÄTTEN 'Prince Günther inspecting a shot deer', around 1912, RARITY! There are only a few examples of these groups of figures from the 'Hunting Table Decorations' that were designed by Otto Thiem (Ilmenau 1876-1956) in 1910 on behalf of Princess Anna Luise von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (1871-1951). White porcelain depicting Prince Günther zu Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and Sondershausen looking at a dead deer, as well as Princess Thekla zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg and the two forest wardens "Helke" and "Schneppe". Figures on a square plinth, embossed "Otto Thiem 1912", bottom glued-on labels with the figure description, model no. "U 205", small restored areas on the tail and left ear of the stag and on the back of the princess, some minor fire cracks, signs of age. H 35.5 cm x L 32.5 x W 28.5 cm.
