Nouvelle édition revue du Bambergensis, célèbre ouvrage de droit criminel allemand paru pour la première fois dans la principauté épiscopale de Bamberg en 1507, et qui fit longtemps référence dans l’Empire. Aucune bibliographie ne fait mention d’une réédition avant celle de 1580. 21 des grands bois d’origine ont été réutilisés à cette occasion. Fairfax Murray German II, n° 457 pour l’édition de 1507, avec mention de l’édition de 1580.



In-4 (297 x 195 mm). Titre gravé imprimé en rouge et noir portant les armes épiscopales du prince-évêque Johann Georg I. Zobel von Giebelstadt, et 21 grands bois dont 11 à pleine page. Reliure du XXe siècle, demi-maroquin bordeaux à long grain à coins, dos lisse orné (titre sali et restauré monté sur onglet, mouillure en tête à l'ensemble du volume, déchirure atteignant le texte restaurée en pied du f. K1). Provenance : note manuscrite de l'époque à l'encre en pied du feuillet K1.
