Kammerstück. Stahl, in mehreren Schichten zeitgenössisch schwarz lackiert (berieben). Brust- und Rückenteil mit roter Kordeleinfassung (stellenweise vom Rand gelöst) und naturfarbenem Leinfutter. Im Futter der Brust das Trägeretikett "Gardes du Corps Herden / 2. Esk. Regt. Gardes du Corps / Waffennummer 79", darunter handschriftlich in Tinte die ältere Beschriftung "GdC Becker". Im Futter des Rückens das Etikett "Unteroffizier Blonsky 3. Esc. Rgt. GdC Waff-Nr". Das Rückenteil mit schwarz lackierten, lederunterlegten Schuppenketten, die Schließen messingfarben belassen, vernieteter lederner Bauchgurt. Aufgrund der langen Tragezeit zeitgenössisch überarbeitet. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren.
Die schwarzen Kürasse hatte der russische Zar Alexander I. dem Regiment 1814 als Zeichen der Freundschaft und Bündnistreue geschenkt.

Privately purchased piece. Steel, black lacquered in several layers during the time of use (rubbed). The breast- and back-plates trimmed with red cord (partially detached from the edge) and natural coloured linen lining. In the lining of the breast-plate a label with the owner's details "Gardes du Corps Herden / 2. Esk. Regt. Gardes du Corps / Waffennummer 79", below handwritten in ink the older inscription "GdC Becker". In the lining of the back-plate the label "Unteroffizier Blonsky 3. Esc. Rgt. GdC Waff-Nr". The back-plate with black lacquered, leather-lined chin scales, brass-coloured clasps, riveted leather belt. Reworked at the time due to the long period of use. Partially slightly damaged, signs of wear and age.
In 1814, Tsar Alexander I awarded the regiment black cuirasses as a symbol of friendship and loyalty.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
