Glatter, über der Kammer oktagonaler, in rund übergehender Lauf im Kaliber 19 mm, auf der Oberseite Korn und einfache Standkimme, rechts Pfanne mit Abdeckung. Luntenschloss mit glatter Schlossplatte, der Luntenhalter leicht geschnitten und mit muschelförmigem Abschluss. Etwas bestoßener Vollschaft, Vorderschaft mittig mit Öffnung für einen durchsteckbaren Schildzapfen, Kolben rechts mit Brandstempel Krone mit "CT", balustergegliederter eiserner Abzugshebel. Hölzerner Ladestock mit Beindopper. Schaft etwas bestoßen, leichte Fraßschäden am Kolben und Risse im Bereich der Schaftnase. Länge 157 cm.
A heavy Italian matchlock musket, circa 1600
Smooth, octagonal to round barrel in cal. 19 mm, front sight and plain rear sight at top, pan with cover on the right. Matchlock with smooth lockplate, the matchlock clamp slightly chiselled and with shell-shaped lower end. Slightly bumped full stock, a hole for a push-through trunnion in the middle of the fore-end, the right side of the buttstock with hot-branded crown and "CT", iron baluster trigger guard. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Stock somewhat bumped, slight worming at the buttstock and cracks at the nose cap. Length 157 cm.
