Original geschwärzte, kräftig gegratete Brustplatte mit gebördelten Brechrändern. Auf der linken Brustseite eine Beschussprobe. Schuppenketten mit schwenkbaren Sperrhaken, an den Seiten erhaltene Gürtelspangen. Fein in Goldfarbe gemalter Zierstreifen aus bekrönten Schlangen (Familie Sforza ?) und Lorbeerzweigen. Umlaufend feine Futterlöcher. Zugehörige Rückenplatte. Riemen erneuert. Höhe 50 cm.

A heavy Italian bullet-proof cuirass with gold painting, late 17th century
The original blackened, heavily ridged breastplate with turned flanges. A shot strike mark on the left side of the breast. The chinscales with swivelling hook-and-eye closures, belt clasps still preserved on the sides. A decorative strip with crowned serpents (the Sforza family?) and laurel branches delicately painted in gold. A row of fine lining holes around the edges. Matching backplate. The straps have been renewed. Height 50 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
