Deutscher Maler, Graphiker u. Entwerfer des Jugendstils. Nach Besuch der Hamburger u. Nürnberger Kunstgewerbeschulen ab 1882 studierte E. an der Münchner Akademie bei A. von Wagner. Ab Mitte der 1890er Jahre ließ er aber die akademische Malerei hinter sich u. profilierte sich als Hauptvertreter eines floralen Jugendstils. Er arbeitete in München für 'Jugend' u. 'Pan', hielt aber über J. Brinckmann, den Gründer des Kunstgewerbemuseums u. die Scherrebeker Webschule den Kontakt nach Hamburg. 1897 siedelte er nach Berlin über u. nahm eine Stelle als Lehrer für ornamentale Graphik am Kunstgewerbemuseum an; 1898 gehörte er zu den Mitbegründern der Münchener Secession. Die Tuberkulose setzte seinem Leben ein frühes Ende.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
