A good 18th-century edition of Scoto's work sought after for the plates illustrating views of the major Italian cities. 8vo (160 x 105mm). Engraved Borghese arms on title, woodcut initials and headpieces, 26 engraved folding plates (lacking engraved frontispiece, small paperflaw to plate of Urbino, occasional tiny wormholes, some light browning and foxing). Modern vellum, manuscript title on spine, preserved in modern paper case.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
