Meissen, 1722/23. Complement jug, the curved spout with a laughing mask at the base, ear handle at both Ends blade type fanned out. Circumferentially painted in the dominant colors of the famille ends verte: the main scene in chinoiser landscape master and servant, as well as mother and child, the look on his dragon behind the running boy. The neck and lid with vine border in red and Green. Under glaze blue 'K. P. M'mark and sword mark. H. 13 cm. - The type goes back to a model of red Böttger stoneware, his painting, however, is rare, since one has left after the introduction of the scenic decorations, the body of this model is mostly smooth.

A pot with a nearly identical painting of the former. Slg. Klemperer, was sold at auction on 26.11.2014 at Bonhams London (lot 176); other teapots of this type with a slightly different cover-painting were, according to Tradition formerly in the Coll. by Erich von Goldschmidt-Rothschild, 1931, made by Ball & Graupe, Berlin auctions, as well as the ECR. Otto and Magdalena Blohm (see R. Schmidt, Early European Porcelain as collected by Otto Blohm (1953), no. 21. Three similarly decorated cups are in the state Museum of Amsterdam (formerly Slg. Franz and Margarete Oppenheimer and Slg. Fritz Mannheimer), as well as in the porcelain collection of Dresden.
