A VERY RARE 'SPINACH AND EGG'-GLAZED BOTTE VASE - China, Kangxi period - This fine vase is distinctively covered on the exterior with a splashed sancai (tri-colour ) glaze in yellow, green and aubergine-brown. In China this décor is known as the hupiban (tiger-skin) pattern and referred to in the West as ‘egg-and-spinach’. The French also refer to this type of decoration as ‘harlequin’. - Collection Dr. Rainer Kreissl (1924 - 2005) - Important Southern German private collection, assembled before 1990 - Very minor traces of age

Diese feine Vase ist außen mit einer gesprenkelten Sancai-Glasur (Dreifarbenglasur) in Gelb, Grün und Aubergine-Braun überzogen. In China ist dieses Dekor als Hupiban-Muster (Tigerfell) bekannt und wird im Westen als "Spinach-and-Egg" bezeichnet. Die Franzosen bezeichnen diese Art von Dekor auch als 'Harlekin'.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
