A RARE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL 'TAOTIE' HU-VASE - China, ca. 17th/ 18th c. - The pear-shaped body standing on a tall splayed foot. The waisted neck applied with a pair of enameled mythical taotie-mask-handles suspending loose rings. The body with wide bands of taotie, lotus scrolls, tendrils, eight treasure symbols and pendent lappets, all enameled in vibrant turquoise, cobalt blue, yellow, red, green, and white. - Former European private collection, acquired prior to 2007 - Signs of age, partially slightly wear, in the body area some repairs - Cf. Birnenförmiger Körper auf hohem ausgestelltem Fuß. An dem weiten und taillierten Hals zwei emaillierte taotie-Maskengriffe mit losen Ringen. Der Korpus dekoriert mit breiten Bändern mit taotie, Lotus, Ranken, acht Schatzsymbolen und hängende Blätter. Alle emailliert in hellem Türkis, Kobaltblau, Gelb, Rot, Grün und Weiß.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
