Aus Eichenholz vollrund geschnitzte Figur eines Ritters zu Pferde mit geringen Resten vollflächiger polychromer Fassung. In zeitgenössische, fein reliefierte Rüstung gekleidet, reitet der Ritter einen kräftigen Hengst in rot bemaltem Zaumzeug. Das angewinkelte Bein des Pferdes sowie die Basis restauriert. Stellenweise kleine Fehlstellen, minimal wurmstichig. Höhe 52 cm. Seltene, da profane Darstellung.

Oakwood sculpture of a knight on horseback with slight traces of polychrome paint throughout. The knight is clad in contemporary, finely carved armour with raised details, the tack of his sturdy stallion painted red. The bent horse leg and base restored. Small losses here and there, slight worming. Height 52 cm, rare secular sculpture.
