3-tlg.; Biskuitporzellan. Auf einem unregelmäßig gehöhten Gesteinssockel stehender, kräftiger junger Mann mit Anker, einen Ballen schnürend. Rückseitig zwei Amoretten beim Zählen der Münzen bzw. auf einem Warenballen sitzend, auf dem ein Füllhorn mit Schmuck und Münzen liegt. Den mit Efeufestons umkränzten Säulenschaft krönt das vierseitige Gesicht des Gottes Terminus. Entw. Michel Victor Acier, 1779. Modell-Nr. C 18. Terminus-Säulenschaft (19. Jh.) passend erg.; Teilw. besch./best.; Unw. rest.; Blaue Schwertermarke und teilw. eingepresste Schwertermarke im Dreieck. H. 42,5 cm. B. 41 cm. T. 29 cm.
Die Figurengruppe "Der blühende Handel Russlands" entstammt einem 7-tlg., allegorischen Tafelaufsatz und war eine diplomatische Geschenkgabe von König August III. an Generalfeldmarschall Nikolai Wissiljewitsch Repnin (1734-1801). Dieser hatte beim sog. "Frieden von Teschen" großen Einfluss. Die vier Blickachsen des Terminus verdeutlichen den "blühenden Handel Russlands" in alle vier Weltteile, ob zu Wasser oder auf dem Land, während die Münzen und das Füllhorn die florierenden Geschäfte versinnbildlichen sollen.
