Gelber Seidensamt (Epinglé frisé), Hintergrund in dunklerem Gelb durch aufgeschnittene und Muster in hellerem Gelb durch geschlossene Samtschleifen dargestellt. Die Motive werden in einem aufwendigen Verfahren von Hand in den Samt geschnitten. Innenfutter: gelbe Seide. Über perforierten Gartensteinen wachsen Pflaumen, Orchideen, Chrysanthemen und Bananenstauden. Die Pflanzen sind eine Variation der Vier Talente der Gelehrten, wobei der Bambus durch die Banane ersetzt wurde. Die Umrandung ist mit den Blumen der vier Jahreszeiten geschmückt, nämlich Chrysanthemen, Bambus, Pflaumen und Pfingstrosen.
Max Müller (1867-1960), deutscher Konsul in Hankow, sammelte zwischen 1905 und 1912 in China. Durch Erbschaft an seine Tochter Irmgard Müller-Doertenbach (1909-2011), von ihr 1992 vom heutigen Besitzer erworben

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
