Zweiteiliger, zylindrischer und aufschiebbarer Lindenholzkorpus, dieser innen farbig hinterlegt. Außen fein mit einer bekrönten Maria Immaculata, Buckeldekor und Girlanden beschnitzt und in einer Kartusche bezeichnet: „DURCH DEIN.H.JUNGFRAUSCHAFT UND UNPEFLEKHTE EMPFENKHNUS.O.REINISTE JUNGFRAU.MARIA.REINIGE MEIN HERZ.". Inwandig ein ebenfalls bemerkenswert fein geschnitzter Gnadenstuhl mit Gottvater auf Wolkenband, Heiliggeisttaube und zwei knienden Engeln. Im Gegenstück ein geschnitztes Kruzifix mit trauernder Maria. Auf modernem Plexiglasstand montiert. Auf Standfläche in Tinte bezeichnet und datiert. Sehr guter Erhaltungszustand. Maße 18 x 17,7 x 4 cm.

A rare Tyrolean portable or pilgrim altar, 18th/19th century
The two-part, cylindrical, sliding lime wood body with a coloured interior. The outside finely carved with a crowned Immaculate Mary, decorative bosses and garlands, a cartouche inscribed "DURCH DEIN.H.JUNGFRAUSCHAFT UND UNPEFLEKHTE EMPFENKHNUS.O.REINISTE JUNGFRAU.MARIA.REINIGE MEIN HERZ.". The interior featuring an equally remarkable, intricately carved Trinity with God the Father on a band of clouds, a dove representing the Holy Spirit and two kneeling angels. The counterpart with a carved crucifix and the mater dolorosa. Mounted on a modern Plexiglas pedestal. The surface of the base labelled and dated in ink. Excellent condition. Dimensions 18 x 17.7 x 4 cm.
