The casket made of poplar wood with a fine stucco décor of white lead. The rectangular body mounted on four original feet with floral ornaments. A continuous border of acanthus leaves on the lower edge, above which a frieze with griffins and another frieze of foliage. Each side with a tableau depicting scenes from Roman history according to Titus Livius. The background gilt and finely chased. The lid with a continuous wreath of leaves and a central knob. Knocked, with minor defects here and there. The lock is missing. Dimensions 14 x 20 x 13 cm.
A similar casket from the holdings of the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum is part of the cabinet of curiosities exhibition at Trausnitz Castle in Landshut.

Hölzerne Kassette aus Pappelholz mit fein stuckiertem Dekor aus Bleiweiß. Rechteckiger Korpus auf vier originalen Füßen mit floralem Dekor. Am unteren Rand umlaufende Leiste mit Akanthuslaubdekor, darüber ein Fries mit Greifen sowie ein weiterer Laubfries. Umlaufend vier Bildszenen mit Darstellungen aus der römischen Geschichte nach Livius. Der Hintergrund vergoldet und fein ziseliert. Deckel mit umlaufendem Blattkranz und zentralem Knauf. Bestoßen, stellenweise kleine Fehlstellen. Schloss fehlt. Maße 14 x 20 x 13 cm.
Ein ähnliches Exemplar aus den Beständen des Bayerischen Nationalmuseums befindet sich in der Ausstellung der Wunderkammer der Burg Trausnitz in Landshut.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
