A good copy with important provenance. The Camperdown House Library was a neoclassical residence built in 1838 by Robert Duncan, son of the naval hero Admiral Adam Duncan (1731-1804).

8vo (211 x 151mm). Engraved title by Girolamo Porro, initials and woodcut headpieces (occasional light spotting and staining). 19th-century calf with gilt Camperdown House Library coat of arms, spine decorated in gilt, red speckled edges (light rubbing).
