SERGEY VASIL'EVICH CHEKHONIN 1878 Valdayka - 1936 Lörrach A VERY RARE SOVIET PROPAGANDA PORCELAIN CUP WITH SAUCER Soviet Union, Petrograd, State Porcelain Factory, M.P. Kirillova (execution), circa 1922 Painted with gilt reserves. Underglaze green factory mark with hammer and sickle, signed 'After design of S.V.Chekhonin. MK.' in black overglaze. The service form, designed by the artist S.V. Chekhonin, was intended for the Soviet embassy in Berlin and was therefore not executed in mass production. Diam. 7.1/14.3 cm.

Unterglasurgrüner Firmenstempel mit Hammer und Sichel, in Kyrillisch signiert 'Nach Entw. von S.W. Tschechonin. MK.' (in Aufglasurschwarz). Die Serviceform, entworfen von dem Künstler S.W. Tschechonin, war für die sowjetische Botschaft in Berlin vorgesehen und wurde daher nicht in der Massenproduktion hergestellt.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
