copper bronze with dark Patina and gold plating. Sitting in padamasana on a double Lotus. The two principal hands in anjali mudra pose a request, gem, which stands for the spirit of the enlightenment. In the raised Right hand he once held a prayer chain, with the Left he holds a Lotus. He wears the seven-part bodhisattva jewellery and a high crown, a small representation of his spiritual father, the Buddha Amithabha. The face, hands, feet, and the Lotus throne are not to be plated, and forming a distinct color contrast. The bottom of the socket is closed.

This Form of Avalokiteshvara (Bodhisattva of compassion) embodies the well-known mantra 'om mani padme hum'. The six syllables correspond to the six realms of existence, the essence of which he brings the enlightenment. These are the areas of the gods, the demigods, the people, the animals, the hungry ghosts and the last of the hell. Weight 1780g, height 24.2 cm, width 15.7 cm. Condition A/B.
