Besonders leichte, geschwungene, beidseitig mehrfach gekehlte Rückenklinge mit leicht verbreiteter, zweischneidiger Spitze. Terzseitig zwei messingeingelegte Schriftkartuschen aus dem 19. Jhdt. Die untere umfasst den Namen des angeblichen Besitzers "Nasr ad-Din as-Sultan shah Kadjar", die obere die Herstellersignatur "amel-i Asad Allah". Gemeint sind der berühmte persische Shah aus der Kadjaren-Dynastie, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (1848 - 1496), und der ruhmreiche Schmied Asad Allah Isfahani, dessen Klingen noch lange Zeit nach seinem Tod imitiert wurden. Gravierte Parierstange aus Messing mit knaufförmigen Abschlüssen. Graviertes Griffband aus Messing mit Griffschalen aus Rhinozeroshorn, stellenweise wurmstichig. Nicht zugehörige, lederbezogene Holzscheide mit Messingdrahtnaht und ornamental goldtauschierter Eisengarnitur. Gewicht der Klinge 693 g. Länge (mit Scheide) 88,5 cm.

Very light, curved blade with multiple fullers on both sides and a slightly widened, double-edged point. Two brass-inlaid 19th-century cartouches on the obverse side, the lower one containing the name of the alleged owner "Nasr ad-Din as-Sultan shah Kadjar", the upper one the maker's signature "amel-i Asad Allah". This refers to the famous Persian Shah of the Kadjar Dynasty, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (1848 - 1496), and the renowned blacksmith Asad Allah Isfahani, whose blades have been imitated long after his death. Engraved brass crossguard with knobbed endings. Engraved brass grip band with grip scales of rhinoceros horn, some wormy areas. Non-related, leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass stitching and gold-damascened iron fittings. Weight of the blade 693 g. Length (with scabbard) 88.5 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
