Three stoneware bottle vases

the group comprising:

- a square stoneware vase, decorated with a trailed design in alternating yellow and green glazes, over a triangular inlaid rope patterned ground in greyish-white glaze, accompanied with a fitted wood storage box (tomobako), signed and sealed Tatsuzo
- a large oviform vase with tapering shoulder and everted neck, decorated overall with a radial inlaid rope pattern on a bluish-white ground and abstract brushed grasses motif, accompanied with a fitted wood storage box (tomobako)
- an oviform vase with short foot and everted neck, decorated overall with an inlaid rope pattern and three tones of whitish-grey, dark green and tenmoku glazes, accompanied with a fitted wood storage box (tomobako) inscribed kake-ai yu zogan jomon tsubo [a cord-patterned jar with mixed glazes], signed and sealed Tatsuzo
