With a broad, rapid, furious Duktus-painted depiction of two monkey-like figures. Large-sized, early main work of Anzinger's, and one of the group of "New Wild ones", whose protagonists with their screamed, neo-expressionistic, lively, sometimes provocative images, the painting lively. 1971-1977 he studied at the Vienna Academy under Maximilian Melcher and went in 1981 to Cologne, where he has since lived alternately in Vienna and works. In 1998, he received a professorship for painting at the Düsseldorf art Academy. Anzinger was quickly rewarded with awards and exhibitions, in 1988, he received the Oskar Kokoschka prize, 2003 the Grand Austrian state prize for visual arts. To be the most significant exhibition to include his participation in the documenta 7 in Kassel in 1982 and the Venice Biennale in 1988. The works of the painter Anzinger's convey a direct expression of speed and spontaneity; particularly his early Work such as this are highly gestural and expressive.
