Signierte Louis XV-Kommode von Pierre Roussel. Rosenholz und Königsholz, furniert sowie Einlagen aus unterschiedlichen, teilw. gefärbten Edelhölzern. Dreiseitig bombierter Korpus, flankiert von weit ausgezogenen Ecklisenen, in sich konisch verjüngende, ausgestellte Beine übergehend. In der gegliederten Front zwei breite Schubladen sans traverse. Flächendeckend breit gerahmte, gespiegelt angeordnete Furnierfelder mit großzügig angelegten Intarsien aus Rosenblüten mit Papagei von reliefplastischen Rocaillen aus vergoldeter Bronze begrenzt. Schlagstempel-Sign. P. Roussel (wird Meister 1745) sowie Pariser Jury-Stempel JME. Korrespondierende Deckplatte aus roséfarbenem, cremefarben gemasertem Marmor. H. 86 cm. 130 cm x 63 cm.
Pierre Roussel (1723 - 1782) wurde 1745 Meister, er hielt ab 1762 alle wichtigen Ämter seiner Zunft inne und zählte zu den besten und produktivsten Pariser Ebenisten. Seine Luxusmöbel waren stilprägend für den Geschmack des Louis XV und Louis XVI. Roussel fertigte Möbel u.a. im Auftrag des französischen königlichen Hofes für das Palais Bourbon, das Schloss Chantilly und das Schloss Versailles an.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
