Zweischneidige, beidseitig gegratete Klinge mit verstärktem Ansatz. Die silbergefasste, niellierte Griffmontierung mit vernieteten Horngriffschalen, zwei schauseitigen Ziernieten und 15 gefassten Diamantrosen um die untere Zierniete. Chagrinlederbezogene Holzscheide mit schauseitig en suite floral geschnittenen und niellierten Silberbeschlägen, auf dem Mundbeschlag sieben gefasste Diamantrosen. Lederbezug rückseitig mit späterer Ergänzung. Länge 50 cm.

A Caucasian silver-mounted kinzal, set with diamonds, circa 1900
The double-edged blade of diamond section with a reinforced root. The nielloed grip mounts edged in silver, with riveted horn grip scales, two decorative rivets on the front, 15 rose-cut diamonds set around the lower rivet. Wooden scabbard covered in shagreen leather with floral, en suite chased, nielloed silver fittings on the front, seven rose-cut diamonds set into the locket. The leather cover on the back with a repair of later date. Length 50 cm.
