Silber, getrieben, punziert und graviert. Auf einem runden Hohlfuß, zweiteilige runde Wandung. Umseitig getriebene Blüten und Blattwerk. Der Rand des gewölbten Deckels ist alternierend mit acht plastischen Kirchentürmen und acht Kreuzen verziert. Bekrönung ebenfalls in Türmchenform ausgearbeitet. Seitlich drei und am oberen Abschluss eine Kette, diese mit Cherubimzier, jeweils mit Silberrasseln. Ungemarkt. Die kleinen Türmchen teils beschädigt. Maße 25 x 13,5 cm (Gefäß), Höhe mit Ketten 72 cm, Gesamtgewicht 890 g.
A silver incense burner (sanctuary lamp), probably 19th century
Domed body set decorated with embossed flowers and leaves. Lip alternately decorated with eight crosses and eight church towers. Three chains at the side and one chain decorated with cherub at the top. Set with silver rattles. Apparently unmarked.Dimensions 25 x 13.5 cm (burner), height with chains 72 cm, total weight 890 g.
