Zweischneidige Klinge mit abgeflachtem Mittelgrat, im oberen Drittel beidseitig flache Kehlung. Die Klinge in der unteren Hälfte teils korrodiert. In der Kehlung geschlagene Sägezahnmarken und ungedeutete Symbole. Die reich geschwungene Parierstange und die eiserne Hilze mit erhabenem Silberdekor tauschiert. Darstellung von Köpfen zwischen Hopfenranken. Länge 86,5.

A South German silver-damascened town sword, circa 1620
Double-edged blade of hexagonal section, the forte with flat fuller on both sides. The blade partially corroded. Sawtooth marks and other symbols struck within the fuller. The strongly downcurved quillons and the iron grip with raised, silver-damascened decor. Portrayal of heads between hop tendrils. Length 86.5 cm.
