Runder 57 cm Lauf mit achtkantiger Kammer und blanker vierfach gezogener Seele im Kaliber .577. S/N 854, nummerngleich inkl. Schaft. Fast vollständige, originale Brünierung des Laufes. Expressvisier mit metrischer Einteilung (100/300/400). Über der Kammer diverse Abnahmen und Jahr der Fertigung. Glattes Perkussionsschloss mit "Krone/AR" und "1864". Eiserne Garnitur. Nussholzschäftung mit "Oviedo" und Jahreszahl im Kreis. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Angelenkter Ladestock mit Messingdopper. Reitstange. Kleinteile mit diversen Abnahmen. Mechanisch in Ordnung. Länge circa 96 cm.
Bis auf wenige Unterschiede dem British Pattern 1853 nachempfundene, sehr seltene Waffe des Spanischen Königreichs und dessen Kolonien. Von der Konföderierten Armee wurden während des US-Bürgerkrieges auch Waffen dieses Typs beschafft, was den Karabiner auch für US-Sammler interessant machen dürfte.

Round barrel, length 57 cm, octagonal chamber. Bright rifle bore with four grooves, calibre .577. Serial number 854. Matching numbers, incl. stock. Original finish of barrel better 90%. "Express sights" with metric graduation 100/300/400. Various acceptance marks and production year on top of chamber. Smooth percussion lock marked "Crown/AR" and "1864". Iron furniture. Walnut stock marked "Oviedo" and date in circle. Signs of age and wear. Hinged ramrod with brass tip. Small parts with various acceptance marks. Mechanically sound. Length circa 96 cm.
A few modifications apart this rifle was built after the British Pattern 1853. This rare gun of the Spanish empire was also purchased by the American Confederate Armies during the civil war, which makes it a desirable collector's item for Civil War collectors.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
