Fein gearbeiteter, eiserner Rahmen, die Standfüße mit gotischem Dekor, vorderseitig zwei kleine, gekrümmte Vialen. Durchbrochen gearbeitetes Ziffernblatt mit gotischen Zahlen und alter Mennigefassung. Messingzeiger. Frontpendel. Eisernes Räderwerk. Schlagwerk mit Messingglocke und seitlichem Klöppel. Schnüre und Gewichte fehlen. Werk läuft nicht, Öle verharzt, reinigungsbedürftig. Vereinzelt ältere Restaurierungen. Höhe 34,5 cm.
A South German or Swiss late Gothic mechanical iron clock, 16th century
Finely wrought, iron frame, the feet with Gothic adornment, two small, curved vials on the front. The openwork dial with Gothic numerals and old red lead paintwork. Brass hands. The pendulum at the front. Iron clockwork. The striking mechanism with a brass bell and clapper on the side. Cords and weights are not included. The clockwork not running, the lubricants resinified, needs cleaning. Old restorations here and there. Height 34.5 cm.
