Kräftig gegratetes Kinnreff mit nach außen gebördeltem Rand und umlaufenden Futternieten. An der linken Seite erhaltene eiserne Schnalle, rechts eine Lochung für den fehlenden Riemen. Starr vernietete, leicht gegratete Kragenplatte. Links auf der Platte geschlagene Marke "M" mit Krone. Neben dem Kinngrat und entlang des oberen Grates des Kragens alte Reparaturstellen in Kupferlot. Maße 21,5 x 24,5 x 17 cm, Gewicht 1054 g.
Antonio Negroni, nach seinem Wohnort nahe Mailand genannt "Missaglia", zählte zu den besten und bekanntesten Plattern des 15. Jhdts. und fertigte die Harnische für viele gekrönte Häupter Europas.

A fine North Italian, late Gothic bevor from the Missaglia workshop, mid-15th century
The heavily ridged bevor with the edges struck outwards and a row of lining rivets. An iron buckle still preserved on the left side, a perforation for the missing strap on the right. The rigid, lightly ridged collar plate riveted in place. An "M" mark with a crown struck in the left of the plate. Old repairs in copper solder next to the chin und along the upper ridge of the collar. Dimensions 21.5 x 24.5 x 17 cm, weight 1054 g.
Antonio Negroni, referred to as "Missaglia" after his place of residence near Milan, was one of the most skilful, best known armourers of the 15th century, producing suits of armour for numerous crowned heads of Europe.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
