Gegrateter, zweiteiliger, abschlächtiger Gesichtsschutz mit kantig gebördeltem Brechrand. Einfach geschobener, spitz zulaufender, gegrateter Kragen, am unteren Ende zwei Befestigungslöcher. Aus alten Teilen zusammengestellt. Fleckige Alterspatina, stellenweise narbig, die Ränder der einzelnen Platten stellenweise mit kleinen Ausbrüchen bzw. Reparaturstellen. Höhe 26 cm.

A Spanish late-Gothic reinforcing bevor, circa 1510
The ridged, pivoted face guard forged in two pieces, the flange with angular, turned edges. The ridged gorget sliding on one lame and tapering to a point, two fastening holes at the lower edge. Assembled from old components. Stained aged patina, pitting in places, some edges of the individual plates with minimal chipping and repairs. Height 26 cm.
