Spiera,A.de. Quadragesimale de floribus sapientiae. Venedig, Gabriel de Grassis 1485. 4°. Mit einer Initiale mit Federverzierungen, zahlreich eingemalten Initialen in Rot und Holzschnitt-Druckermarke in Rot; durchgehend rubriziert. 408 (von 410) Bl. Pergament der Zeit über Holzdeckeln mit 2 intakten Schließen (Metallbänder der Zeit), Beschlägen für die Schließen, Eckbeschlägen, Buckeln sowie Metallrahmen für das auf dem Deckel montierte alte Titelschild wohl aus dem 19. Jahrhundert (Gelenke und Rücken mit Einriß, etwas beschabt).

BSB S-524. - Erstmals 1476 erschienenes Werk des Kamaldulensergenerals Ambrosius de Spiera (1378-1439). - Einer von nur sechs bekannten Drucken dieser Offizin. - Oben rechts mit durchgehender Kapitelnumerierung von alter Hand. - Es fehlen die Blätter bb 3 und bb 4 (Register). - Die letzte Lage vom Block gelöst, das erste Blatt nahezu lose, mit Randabriß und auf der weißen Rectoseite mit Spuren eines entfernten Exlibris, anfangs mit Randschäden, Bl. a 8 teilweise gelöst, wenige Blätter mit kleinen Fehlstellen (etw. Textverlust), teilweise etwas gebräunt, gering fleckig. Work by the Camaldolese general Ambrosius de Spiera (1378-1439) first published in 1476. - One of only six known prints of this printing office. - At top right with continuous chapter numbering by contemporary hand. - Lacks leaves bb 3 and bb 4 (register). - Last quire unstuck from block, the first leaf nearly loose, torn at margin and with traces of a removed exlibris on the blank recto page, at the beginning with marginal damages, leaf a 8 partly detached, a few leaves with small defects (minor loss of text), partly a little browned, minimally soiled. - Contemporary vellum over wooden boards with 2 intact clasps (contemporary metal ribbons), metal fittings for the clasps, metal corner fittings, boss and metal frame for the old title label mounted on the cover probably from the 19th century (joints and spine with tear, a little scratched).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
