The clandestine radio set Type 3 Mk II, commonly also known simply as "B2", was designed by Captain John Brown of the British secret service SOE (Special Operations Executive) in 1942 and issued to agents, resistance groups and special forces operating in territory occupied by Germany. It had a radio range of some 800 km, with a frequency range of between 3.1 to 15.5 MHz. Moreover, the "B2" could be operated not just from the mains, but could also be powered by a built-in 6V battery, making it suitable for mobile use.
Extremely rare find, especially as it comes with the original suitcase.
