Breite, mehrfach gekehlte Spitze mit geätztem Dekor aus Ranken und Bandwerk, en suite geätzte Parierhaken mit vier runden Durchbrüchen, zentral das große Wappen des Fürstbischofs unter Kardinalshut und Baldachin, zwischen den beiden Reißhaken bezeichnet "D.H.S.R.E.C.de S.S.R.I.P.ac E.S." (Damianus Hugo Sanctae Romanae Ecclesiae Cardinalis de Schönborn. Sacri RomaniImperii Princeps ac Epsiscopus Spirensis = Damian Hugo, Kardinal der Heiligen Römischen Kirche von Schönborn, des Heiligen Römischen Reiches Fürst und Bischof von Speyer).
Ätzungen mit Spuren von Vergoldung, auf einer Seite entfernte Reste einer unfachmännisch angebrachten Aufhängevorrichtung, leichte Korrosionsspuren. Länge 73 cm.
Damian Hugo Philipp Reichsgraf von Schönborn-Buchheim (geb. 19.9.1676 in Mainz, gest. 19.8.1743 in Bruchsal) war ab 1719 Fürstbischof von Speyer, ab 1721 Kardinal und ab 1740 Fürstbischof von Konstanz.

The broad point with several fullers, etched décor of tendrils and scrolling bands, en suite etched guards with four circular perforations, the Prince Bishop's large coat of arms below a cardinal's hat and baldachin at the centre, the inscription between the two flukes reads "D.H.S.R.E.C.de S.S.R.I.P.ac E.S." (Damianus Hugo Sanctae Romanae Ecclesiae Cardinalis de Schönborn. Sacri RomaniImperii Princeps ac Epsiscopus Spirensis = Damian Hugo, Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church of Schönborn, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire and Bishop of Speyer).
Traces of gilding in the etchings, remnants of a suspension device on one side that was inexpertly attached and later removed. Light traces of corrosion. Length 73 cm.
