CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, XVIIIÈME SIÈCLE

Ils sont tous deux représentés assis en vajrasana sur une base lotiforme, vêtus d'un dhoti ceinturé à la taille et richement parés de bijoux. Leur expression est sereine et leur front est ceint d'une couronne ouvragée. Amitayus a ses mains jointes en dhyanasana et une étoffe s'enroule autour de ses bras. Manjushri effectue plusieurs mudra avec ses mains principales et secondaires rayonnantes dont l'une tient une épée et une autre tenait à l'origine un attribut ; l'une non scellée, l'autre rescellée.
