JAPON, ÉPOQUE NANBOKUCHO-MUROMACHI, XIVÈME-XVÈME SIÈCLE

Le gardien modelé en bois de cyprès décoré de marqueterie yosegi représente l'un des Jūnishinshō, les douze généraux divins au service de Bhaishajyaguru (Yakushi Nyorai), le Bouddha de la guérison. Il est représenté en armure chinoise, se tenant debout sur une base rocheuse, un bras levé tenant à l'origine un bâton. Ces yeux incrustés en cristal sont peints avec des pupilles noires cerclées d'or. La surface présente des traces de pigments rouges, noirs, bleus et verts ; une inscription à l'encre à l'intérieur.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
