A GILT- AND BLACK-LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI - Thailand, Ayutthaya Period, 18th c. - Standing in samabhanga with both hands raised in the abhayamudra, wearing a monastic garment including uttarasangha and samghati fastened around the middle with a belt, covering both shoulders and falling down along his body with flaring sides, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, elongated earlobes, curled hairdo continuing into the ushnisha and topped with a separate cast flame. - From a German private collection, assembled in the 1990s - on wood base - Minor traces of age, partly slightly chipped

In 'samabhanga' stehend, beide Hände in 'abhayamudra' erhoben, ein schlichtes Gewand mit 'uttarasangha' und 'samghati' tragend, das in der Mitte mit einem Gürtel befestigt ist, beide Schultern bedeckt und an den Seiten ausladend am Körper herabfällt, das Gesicht mit heiterem Ausdruck, mit niedergeschlagenen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, die in den Nasensteg übergehen, verlängerten Ohrläppchen, Lockenfrisur, die in die Ushnisha übergeht und mit einer separat gegossenen Flamme gekrönt ist.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
