Achtkantige, in rund übergehende, glatte Läufe im Kaliber 16 mm. Rechtsseitiges Steinschloss, auf der Schlossplatte signiert "J.F. DuCthine(?)", der Wendemechanismus mit dem beweglichen Abzugsbügel verriegelt. Leicht verschnittene Vollschäftung aus Nussbaumholz mit rocaillenverzierter Messinggarnitur und schmales eisernes Laufband, auf dem Griffrücken Silberdrahteinlagen und Monogramm "CVN". Seitlich eingeschobener, hölzerner Ladestock. Länge 45 cm.
A Belgian turnover flintlock pistol, circa 1760
Two-stage barrels, octagonal then round, in 16 mm calibre. Flintlock on the right, the lock plate signed "J.F. DuCthine(?)", the turnover mechanism locked by the movable trigger guard. Slightly chiselled full stock of walnut wood with brass furniture decorated with rocailles and narrow iron barrel band, the back of the grip with silver wire inlays and monogram "CVN". Wooden ramrod set into one side. Length 45 cm.
