Date: 11th/12th century.
Technique: Black stone.
Description: Slender stela shape, rounded at the top. Centrally, in deeply moulded relief, the
depiction of the four-armed Shiva, seated in the Lalitasana pose on a low double lotus. He
is holding the trident and the skull bowl in his side hands. His drooping leg rests on the
bull Nandi and his left arm is draped around his spouse Uma. She sits on his thigh,
holding a lotus flower in her hand and resting her drooping leg on a lion. The prabha
adorned with two celestial beings (vidyadhara).
Measurement: Height 64cm, width 34,5cm.
