Wohl Italien, um 1860 Gelbgold 585/- und Silber, getestet. 1 Altschliffbrillant von ca. 0,35 ct., 39 Diamanten in unterschiedlichen Altschliffformen, zusammen ca. 1,40 ct.; Qualität der Diamanten: W-TCR (H-J), VS-SI. Die Broschierung ist abschraubbar. Einige wenige Steine min. best. Durchmesser ca. 3,55 cm. Ca. 21,49 g. Auffallend ist die Form des Sternes. Es handelt sich um das sogenannte Pentagramm, verbreitet ist auch die Bezeichnung Drudenstern. Die Symbolik des Pentagramms ist vielfältig und findet sich in vielen Kulturen. In der Antike war es das Symbol der Venus, die christliche Deutung sah in den Spitzen die fünf Wundmale Christi. Im Mittelalter galt das Pentagramm als Bannzeichen gegen das Böse und war Schutzzeichen gegen die nächtlichen Spukgeister, die Druden. Als Freimaurersymbol schließlich bedeuten die fünf Spitzen die Tugenden Klugheit, Gerechtigkeit, Stärke, Mäßigung und Fleiß. SvP
