Einteilig geschlagene, spitz zulaufende Kalotte mit vierfacher Gratung. Im Nacken eiserne Federbuschtülle. Einteilig gearbeitete Augen- und Nackenschirme mit gebördelten und geschnürlten Rändern. Rechts am Nackenschirm Nürnberger Marke. Scharniergelagerte Wangenklappen (ein Scharnier alt repariert) mit Gehöröffnungen. Höhe 31 cm.

A German burgonet of the Hungarian type, circa 1540
The skull forged in one piece and tapering to a point, with quadruple fullers. An iron plume socket at the nape. The peak and neck guard forged in one piece with roped and turned flanges. The Nuremberg mark stamped on the right of the neck guard. The hinged cheek pieces with perforations for hearing, one hinge with an old repair. Height 31 cm.
