Zwei Porträts. Halbfigur nach rechts, den Kopf nach links gewandt / Halbfigur nach links, den Kopf zum Betrachter gewandt. Das Herrenporträt auf dem Schriftstücke bezeichnet. Öl auf Lwd. auf Karton. Je ca. 82 x 65 cm. Rest. Rahmen besch. (je ca. 92 x 74 cm). Laut Bezeichnung auf rückseitigen Etiketten handelt es sich bei den Dargestellten um Maria Theresia Kayser, geb. Strobl (1736-1803) und Johann Georg Kayser (gestorben 1799) aus Straubing. Diese Angabe stimmt mit dem Adressaten des auf dem Herrenporträt dargestellten Schriftstückes überein. Johann Peter Kayser war Eisenhändler und 1794/95 Bürgermeister von Straubing (vgl. Sieghart, Martin, Geschichte und Beschreibung der Hauptstadt Straubing im Unter-Donau-Kreise des Königreichs Bayern. 2. Teil. Straubing 1835, Beilage zu 242 "Stadtkammerer und Bürgermeister zu Straubing", Nr. 97).

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
