The surviving population of Babe Ruth autographed baseballs is relatively strong due in equal part to Ruth's enduring iconic status and his willingness to interact with his adoring fans. That population, however, is widely varied in present day condition grade. This is in large part due to those same adoring fans who handled, shared and perhaps even batted around the yard the very same signed baseballs. It couldn't be helped. Cream color Harridge AL baseball which has been blessed with a stunning black fountain pen signature of the Bambino appropriately positioned squarely across the sweet spot. The signature almost assuredly presents in nearly exact condition as signed with rich bold color and only a hint of grade differential to a few letters allowing for an overall rating of 8/9 out of 10. The ball is equally impressive with even color and minimal surface wear mentioned for accuracy only. A condition gem that would absolutely mark as a cornerstone of any advanced collection.
